Meet the Team
ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø was founded in 2007 by . Will began tutoring after he graduated from Oriel College, Oxford with a degree in History and couldn’t believe that he had stumbled upon a way to make a living that was at once so enjoyable and so rewarding. He was soon joined by one of his oldest friends, , who also studied History with Will at Oriel College, Oxford. Josh had begun a career in investment banking at Lazard before coming and running Keystone with him. Since then, Josh and Will have grown the company together, alongside a wonderful team of talented and dedicated individuals, now headed up by Managing Director Ed Richardson.
Ed Richardson, Managing Director
Ed read Zoology at St. Andrews University before completing a Secondary Science PGCE at Oxford University. He has since undertaken a Masters in Teaching and Learning at Oxford too. Prior to joining Keystone, he taught all three sciences to GCSE as well as A Level Biology at an outstanding state comprehensive academy in Oxfordshire.
Previously, Ed served as the Director of Education at Keystone, where he led the client management team, oversaw the tutor recruitment process, and was responsible for the professional development of Keystone's employed tutors. Now, as Keystone's Managing Director, he is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategy of the company.
Ed firmly believes that providing tutors with appropriate levels of training better equips them to support the individual needs of their students. He recognizes the value of educational literature and spends time researching current publications, particularly on the nature of personalised learning and its benefits for students of all abilities. Outside of Keystone, Ed is a Trustee for the and speaks on a variety of educational topics from 'The Importance of Parents in a Child's Attainment' to ‘The British Education System’.
Alice Cave, Head of Client Management
Alice joined the Keystone team in June 2017 as a Client Manager, having previously worked at Knight Frank in the Country House Department and The Prince’s Trust in the fundraising team.
Alice went to Edinburgh University, where she graduated with a degree in Divinity.
Having spent time working at a prep school in Dorset, and with the benefit of teachers in her family, Alice has amassed a strong knowledge of the UK school system and understands the importance of ensuring children get the best possible start in life through education. Alice now heads up the client management team and alongside this, runs Keystone's Pro Bono offering.
Charlotte Wilson, Client Manager
Charlotte joined the Keystone Team in 2023 as a Client Manager. Charlotte previously worked for an Education Technology company in London, where she supported families preparing for 11+ exams and secondary school entrance.
Charlotte is a qualified TEFL tutor and has taught online English lessons to students across Europe and China. She has also spent time working as a teaching assistant at a British Curriculum Prep School in Kenya.
Charlotte is passionate about supporting children with their education so that they are equipped with the skills and confidence to thrive at school, university and beyond. In her role as Client Manager, Charlotte aims to ensure that each child is paired with the right tutor and always strives to go above and beyond for each family.
Daisy Beor-Roberts, Tutor Manager
Daisy joined the Keystone Team in February 2021 as the Education Administrator and became our Tutor Manager in January 2023. She attended Oxford Brookes University where she studied Real Estate Management. Prior to joining Keystone she worked as a property manager.
Daisy decided to join the world of education in order to help young people benefit from the stability of a good education and consequently reach their potential. As Tutor Manager, she assists with the management and recruitment of our tutors, as well as finding the best tutor for each child.
Ellie McIntyre, Client Manager
Ellie joined the Keystone team in November 2023 as a Client Manager after studying English at Bristol University. Ellie has over three years of experience as a tutor, teaching GCSE and A-Level students in English Language, English Literature, and History. Ellie is also a qualified TEFL teacher and has also taught English to students aged between 5-11 in Italy.
Ellie is excited to use her knowledge of the education system to help families and students thrive academically!
